As of February 7, during the elimination of the weather conditions deterioration’s consequences, the DPR Emergency Situations Ministry has helped 34 motor vehicles and 202 people, including 6 children, out of snow drifts, the press service of the agency reports.
Besides, 112 units of equipment and 474 personnel of the DPR Emergencies Ministry and 37 units of equipment and 96 personnel of the Avtodor SE were involved in clearing snow on roads and assisting in the removal of vehicles from snow drifts. The work is ongoing.
It should be noted that the forces and means of the DPR Emergency Situations Ministry are on high alert for prompt response to possible emergencies associated with complicated weather conditions.
Since February 6, the DPR Emergencies Ministry’s hotline has been addressed by more than 700 citizens of the Republic.
