Residents of Zuyevka village received legal assistance from qualified professionals within the framework of the Mobile Legal Clinic Project of the Donetsk Republic PM today, on February 11. According to the correspondent of the Official Website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, about 40 people sought legal advice and most of the issues were resolved on the spot.
“This project is very important and much needed in remote villages where there are no specialists with a narrow focus to provide competent advice. The Mobile Legal Clinic provides the services of lawyers, a certifying officer, the Migration Office and others. Of all the appeals, about 70 have been resolved today right away, which very well reduces social tension,” Viktoria Zhukova, Head of the Khartsyzsk City Council, said.
In turn, Head of the Zuyevka Village Council Alexander Shepilov added that about 60% of the village residents are pensioners and it is very difficult for them to travel far, therefore the Mobile Legal Clinic Project is very relevant and useful.
“I would like to express gratitude to Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin and Adviser to the Head of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement’s Central Executive Committee Elena Radomskaya for the opportunity provided to our residents to receive free qualified advice. Such a large-scale event is being held here for the first time and it caused great excitement and interest among the population of the village,” he said.
Clarifications on issues of interest to citizens were given by lawyers of the Voroshilovsky Inter-District Legal Clinic, a certifying officer, representatives of the DPR Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Migration Office and an Adviser to the Head of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement’s Central Executive Committee.
As will be recalled, the DRPM’s Mobile Legal Clinic Project is intended to provide qualified, affordable and free legal assistance in various fields of law to residents of cities and districts of the Donetsk People’s Republic in one place without the need to travel to other cities and attend various authorities.
