Zelensky’s team is trying with emphasis and tenacity to impose its so-called reintegration scenario on Donbass and the global community, DPR People’s Council deputy Vladislav Berdichevsky stated.
“Kiev neglects the Minsk Agreements and again attempts to hold elections in Donbass without coordinating them with the People’s Republics. For our part, we won’t cease reminding Ukrainian politicians that any election in Donbass without coordination with the DPR and the LPR is just a slapstick, an imitation that will not be accepted by the international community.
Such an unconstructive position is not new for Ukraine. Under Poroshenko’s rule, the Ukrainian party regularly sabotaged the negotiation process and the Minsk Agreements’ implementation, now Zelensky and his team continue the same policy.
The idea or attracting the few Maidan supporters who left Donbass for ideological reasons to imitate the election process is doomed to failure, since the Normandy Format meeting has consolidated the lack of alternative for the Minsk Agreement.
