Ukrainian militants violated the ceasefire twelve times over the past day, official representative of the DPR PMD Rinat Aigistov reported on February 15.
- On the Gorlovka front, from the positions of the 58th AFU brigade, the areas of Golmovsky, Zaitsevo and the Gagarin mine’s village were engaged with 82mm mortars, RPGs, heavy machine guns and small arms.
- On the Donetsk front, the 28th brigade fired at Staromikhailovka and the Volvo Center area with 120mm and 82mm mortars, IFV guns, RPGs, SPGs, heavy machine guns and small arms. Having failed to provoke the People’s Militia into opening return fire, Ukrainian militants resorted to sniper fire. As a result of the attack, a civilian, born in 1959, suffered wounds in the back and upper limbs. The affected person was transported in severe condition to a Donetsk medical institution.
- On the Mariupol front, militants of the 10th brigade fired at Leninskoye, Sakhanka, Novaya Tavriya and Sergeyevka with 82mm mortars, heavy machine guns and small arms.
“We urge the OSCE authorities to draw their focus toward the stepped-up aggression of the Ukrainian party. In recent days, the 28th brigade has again returned to its favourite tactics of destroying civilian infrastructure.
As a result of heavy shelling, there were damaged residential buildings and power lines, the territory of an operating school was fired on with mortars, and a civilian was wounded today. Feeling his impunity, Marchenko does not want to stop. The inaction and the tacit consent of the Ukrainian leadership embolden the AFU militants,” Aigistov said.
