Today, on February 18, the Lugansk State Philharmonic Hall hosted a solemn meeting dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Chernukhino-Debaltsevo joint offensive of the DPR and LPR armed forces. The Donetsk delegation included Chief of the DPR People’s Militia Directorate General Major Denis Sinenkov, Commander of the Sparta Separate Intelligence Battalion named after Arsen Pavlov Guards Colonel Vladimir Zhoga, as well as Hero of the Donetsk People’s Republic Colonel Akhra Avidzba.

To commemorate the service in battle of the military from our Republic and their invaluable contribution to the common victory, LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik handed over posthumous awards of first Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko (1976-2018), Colonel Arsen “Motorola” Pavlov (1983-2016), Colonel Oleg “Mamay” Mamiyev (1977-2017) and Guards Colonel Mikhail “Givi” Tolstykh (1980-2017) — medals for their contribution to the Chernukhino-Debaltsevo operation.

“It was our most largescale joint operation, which put a full stop to the military advantage of Ukraine. And our common task is to keep the memory and pride to pass them on to our descendants,” DPR People’s Militia Chief Denis Sinenkov said.
