Over the past day, Ukrainian militants violated the ceasefire eight times, spokesman for the DPR PMD Rinat Aigistov reported at the briefing in Donetsk on February 18.

On the Gorlovka front, militants of the 58th brigade engaged Golmovsky and the village of Gagarin Mine by using rocket launchers and heavy machine guns.

Already today, militants of the 59th brigade engaged Golmovsky and Zaitsevo four times by using 82mm mortars, anti-tank rocket launchers and small arms. Residential buildings at 101, 103, 104, 107 and 109 Karbysheva Street, Zaitsevo (southern), are damaged by enemy mortar shelling. More information about the scale of destruction and casualties among the civilian population is being specified. DPR rescuers quickly localized and put out the fire that broke out as a result of the shelling.

On the Donetsk front, forces of the 92nd, 28th and 128th brigades engaged Zhabichevo, Krasnoarmeyskoye, Yasnoye and the Donetsk airport environs by using IFV guns, anti-tank rocket launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. As a result of the attack on Yasnoye, more than 350 residential buildings and a boiler house, which provided residents with heating, were left without power. Today, militants of the 28th brigade twice engaged the village of Trudovskaya Mine, Petrovsky District of Donetsk, by using 82mm mortars and rocket launchers.

On the Mariupol front, the 10th brigade engaged Ukrainskoye, Kominternovo and Sakhanka by using small arms.
