Emergency repair crews from the Regional Energy Supply Company Republic Enterprise completed repair work in Novoazovsky District of the DPR and restored power supply to all localities that had outages last night because of the massive firing of Kiev militants.
During the survey of the 35 kV power line RP VES-Sakhanka, the electricians found an upper life wire exposed between the support spans No. 10 and 11 and wires damaged by shell fragments of the AFU between the supports spans No. 11, 12 and 13. Fortunately, the 35 kV Sakhanka substation itself was not damaged.
The line was fixed within the shortest possible time, the substation was energized at 15:46, the power supply to all the residents and social facilities resumed.
The power supply in Novoazovsky District is working normally now.
Recall that today, on February 19, at 02:21, as a result of hostilities at the 110 kV Novoazovsk substation, a 35 kV feeder was down, two substations RP-35 VES and Sakhanka-35 kV powering 20 electrical substations were de-energized. The villages of Sakhanka, Sergeyevka, Kominternovo, Zaichenko, Leninskoye, Dzerzhinskoye, a boiler house, a school and a total of 934 residential users were left without electricity.
