Specialists from the Regional Energy Supply Company Republic Enterprise got electricity back to the village of Yelenovka, which was cut off power because of attacks by the armed formations of Ukraine.
“The village was engaged by Kiev militants on February 26, the110 kV power line SbTES—Yelenovka Tyagovaya 2 with a branch line to Styla was damaged at 14:45, the Yelenovka Tygovaya substation was down, 569 residential users, a school, a kindergarten and a boiler house were left without power in the urban-type village of Yelenovka. Electricians started repair work promptly. The Yelenovka substation was powered by the backup supply through a jumper from the 110 kV power line SbTES—Yelenovka Tyagovaya 1, the power supply was restored to all residential users.
Repair crews from the Regional Energy Supply Company continued the repair work today. Particularly, they split the damaged power line SbTES—Yelenovka Tyagovaya 2 at the support 114 and connected it to voltage, thus arranged for a normal power supply.” The Coal and Energy Ministry’s press service reports.
It is not possible yet to fix the remaining part of the the110 kV power line SbTES—Yelenovka Tyagovaya 2, since the damaged sections of the line are in sight at AFU positions. It is necessary to obtain approval from Ukraine to carry out repair work and guarantee the observance of the ceasefire for this time.
Energy specialists of the Republic have sent the necessary request to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination and are waiting for the approval.
