Over the past 24 hours, the armed formations of Ukraine opened fire fifteen times on populated localities of the Republic, spokesman for the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on March 2.
“On the Gorlovka front, fighters of the 58th and 59th brigades armed with 82mm mortars and small arms engaged Dolomitnoye and the village of Gagarin Mine.
On the Donetsk front, forces of the 92nd, 57th, 128th and 28th brigades armed with 82mm mortars, rocket launchers of various types and small arms opened fire at Zhabichevo, Spartak, Yasnoye, Aleksandrovka, Yasinovataya and the village of Trudovskaya Mine.
The Mariupol front remained inactive,” Oleg Nikitin stated.
He also noted that additional information on the scale of destruction of the civil infrastructure and civilian casualties was being specified.
“Materials on the cases of firing at populated localities have been sent to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic, as well as to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office to include them in criminal cases against AFU brigade commanders Kokorev, Mishanchuk, Marchenko, Goncharuk, Kaschenko and Shapovalov,” Oleg Nikitin added.
