In the race for the presidential chair, Vladimir Zelensky made many promises, but none of them he ever fulfilled, a student from Yasinovataya Andrei Doroshenko expressed this opinion.
“After the victory in the presidential election, Zelensky promised that the representatives of the former government, including ex-president Poroshenko, would answer for the crimes they committed. He said that he would personally pass a sentence on Poroshenko. Well, as we see, the sentence was absolutory, because only making the main criminal Poroshenko a suspect takes much time, but the case will not get to court, I think.
Probably, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Riaboshapko, Zelensky’s friend and close associate, will not allow causing inconvenience to the ex-president and his accomplices. If the new Ukrainian president had had at least some political will or independence in decision-making, there would be no such blatant disregard for the opinion of his own citizens.
Last spring, Zelensky promised to lock the criminals up in jail. Almost a year has passed since that spring, so what do we get? Zelensky will never fulfil his promises, including the implementation of the Minsk Agreements and peace reestablishment in Donbass, of course. Firing never ended here,” Andrei Doroshenko said.
