The DPR Ministry of Revenue and Duties is oriented towards dialogue with entrepreneurs in its efforts. Minister for Revenue and Duties Evgeny Lavrenov talked about the system that the ministry is based on in an interview with a correspondent of the DPR Official Website.
“At the beginning of my coming to office at the Ministry of Revenue and Duties, I instructed that communication with entrepreneurs in terms of inspections be minimized. Therefore, we go for checks only if a company falls under the risk zone, like old times.
When our inspectors communicate with taxpayers, they have reason to ask them to share their shortcomings voluntarily, not to wait until they are disclosed during the inspections. That is, they carry out a risk assessment. In any case, an entrepreneur can turn to his tax inspector and explain that the risk he draws attention to is not justified and there is none actually,” Evgeny Lavrenov explained.
The Minister for Revenue and Duties once again focused on the fact that any entrepreneur can always speak frankly to his tax inspector and most likely, the issue will be disallowed.
“There are nuances, inspectors might be dishonest as well, they might demand money. In this case, you must immediately contact the Ministry, the Department for Inherent Security, which will be carrying out preventive activities,” Evgeny Lavrenov informed.
