Today, on March 4, Donetsk hosted an open training of the People’s Patrol, featuring Pavel Massov, a vice world champion in karate, Chair of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional All-Russian Youth Patriotic Public Organization affiliated with the Afghanistan Veterans Russian Union. According to a correspondent of the DPR Official Website, such events featuring distinguished athletes have already become traditional for People’s Patrol members.
“In my opinion as an athlete, such trainings with various coaches, in various martial arts styles, is important in order to improve your build-up, master something new. And any athlete is a seeker, a thinking person, who seeks to get not only stronger, but also better,” Pavel Massov said.
Answering a question about the cooperation of the Donetsk People’s Patrol with the Nizhny Novgorod Patriotic Youth Organization, Pavel Massov noted that these groups have common goals and objectives.
“We have a common task, which is to try to make this world a better place. We have a lot in common, a common history, common goals. We are together!” the Russian athlete said.
