Kiev militants continue to subject towns and villages of the Donetsk People’s Republic to massive firing, thus causing serious damage to the energy infrastructure. Last night, mortar fire of the armed formations of Ukraine resulted in outages in three localities at once, the DPR Coal and Energy Ministry’s press service reports.

On Tuesday of March 3 at 18:05, the 10 kV power line RP-5085-Luganskoye was down and 22 electrical substations were de-energized. A total of 1,164 residential users, as well as a boiler house, a school and a kindergarten in the villages of Signalnoye and Luganskoye were left without electricity completely, Yelenovka partially.

Repair crews from the Regional Power Supply Company Republic Enterprise promptly carried out remedial work, having powered 17 electrical substations. Houses in Yelenovka and Luganskoye got electricity back at 19:45.

Unfortunately, it was impossible to restore the power supply to the village of Signalnoye (460 residential users) last night due to the scale of damage, Kiev militants broke the power line in three support spans at once.

Electricians started repair works this morning. If the combat situation allows, the power supply to the village will be restored as soon as possible.
