The armed formations of Ukraine opened fire at populated localities of the Republic 11 times over the past 24 hours, official representative of the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on March 5.
“On the Gorlovka front, militants of the 59th brigade engaged 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns and small arms to attack south Zaitsevo, Golmovsky and the Gagarin mine’s village.
On the Donetsk front, from the positions of the 128th, 92nd and 28th brigades, there were engaged 82mm mortars, ATGM, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms to fire at Dokuchayevsk, Krutaya Balka, Alexandrovka, and the Donetsk Airport area.
On the Mariupol front, the situation remained stable,” Oleg Nikitin said.
He also noted that the information on the damage caused to civil infrastructure was being specified.
“All the evidence of the localities’ having been shelled have been provided to representatives of international organizations based in the Republic, along with the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office to be attached to the criminal proceedings initiated against AFU brigade commanders Goncharuk, Kokorev,, Marchenko, and Shapovalov,” Oleg Nikitin added.
