Ukrainian armed formations continue to actively thwart the OSCE SMM in order to conceal the deployment of prohibited weapons. Deputy Commander of the Operational Command Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on March 6.
“Over the past week, we revealed yet another evidence of the work of EW mobile groups from the 20th EW battalion in the responsibility zone of the 10th AFU brigade. UAV control and navigation channels were being jammed in the area Lebedinskoye, where OSCE monitors were forced to stop working due to the threat of losing the drone. All the cases of Ukrainian militants’ interference with UAV flights are confirmed by official reports of the Monitoring Mission,” Basurin noted.
