The Humanitarian Programme for the Reunification of Donbass People continues operating in the Donetsk People’s Republic, and leading healthcare institutions of the Republic are taking an active part in it’s implementation, the press service of the DPR Health Ministry reports.
Thus, for the period from February 27 to March 4, 127 patients from the temporarily Kiev-controlled territory received medical assistance as part of the implementation of the Humanitarian Programme for the Reunification of Donbass People.
Four women received high-quality medical care in the sector of Obstetrics and Operative Gynecology at the Donetsk Republican Center for Maternal and Child Welfare.
On the premises of the Donetsk Clinical Regional Medical Association, the sector of Multidisciplinary Hospital for Adults for Receiving Highly Specialized Outpatient and Inpatient Care continues its work. In this sector, specialists of the DCTMA under the DPR Health Ministry provided medical care in this sector to 82 patients for the indicated period. Six patients received highly specialized medical care in the sector of Intraocular Lenses Implantation.
Five children received highly qualified medical care at the Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital under the DPR Ministry of Health.
For the period from February 27 to March 4, at the Republican Oncological Center named after Professor G.V. Bondar and the Institute of Emergency and Reconstructive Surgery named after V.K. Gusak there were hospitalized 30 patients, whose treatment requires non-standard therapeutic tactics and performing surgical interventions in the sectors of Chemotherapy for Oncological Diseases of Adults and Chemotherapy for Oncohematological Diseases of Adults and Children.
