Over the past day, Ukrainian militants opened fire on the territory of the Republic twelve times, Deputy Commander of the Operational Command Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing in Donetsk.

  • “On the Gorlovka front, fighters of the 58th brigade armed with 82mm mortars shelled Zaytsevo and the village of Gagarin Mine. The enemy shelling resulted in damage to a building at 26 Krasnykh Partizan Street, Zaytsevo.
  • On the Donetsk front, the 28th, 57th and 92nd brigades using 120mm and 82mm mortars, anti-tank rocket launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, were firing on Zhabichevo, Aleksandrovka, Staromikhaylovka, the Donetsk airport and the village of Trudovskaya Mine.
  • On the Mariupol front, militants from the 128th brigade fired on Petrovskoye by using rocket launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
