The DPR Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a working meeting with representatives of light industry enterprises, in the course of which there was considered the issue of manufacturing personal protective gear. It was, in particular, about the production of protective masks by republican enterprises’ working teams from the raw materials available to these enterprises — gauze and spunbond, the agency’s press service reports.
“In the Donetsk People’s Republic there are ten light industry enterprises. During one shift, they can produce about 17,800 protective masks,” DPR Minister of Industry and Trade Eduard Armatov said.
Along with this personal protective gear, filter half masks of the Rostock-3T type are produced in the Republic (at the production facilities existing in the DPR) in the amount of up to 20,000 pieces per shift.
