As of March 30, there have not been any officially registered cases of coronavirus infection in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Minister of Health Olga Dolgoshapko informed.

The epidemiological situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic is stable. A total of 7984 people are under observation. Of them, 118 people are hospitalized at in-patient facilities, 7866 people are in home isolation (of who 7302 people crossed the state border of the Republic between March 27 and 29).

The Minister of Health urged citizens of the Republic to follow the rules of home self-isolation.

“By breaking the rules of self-isolation you endanger, first of all, your relatives, friends, neighbors, colleagues and just citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Look at what is happening in the world, how many people have suffered because of negligence and disregard for the simple rules of self-isolation. People are dying by the thousands, this disaster might come to our home, our Republic. So far, we have managed to handle the situation smoothly,” Dolgoshapko noted.

We remind that the Ministry of Health has a hotline working in the Republic, you can contact it by calling a shot number 277 via Phoenix mobile communications provider or by landline phone (062) 303-27-72.

In case of first signs of any acute respiratory viral disease (body temperature, coughing, rhinorrhea, especially labored breathing) you must immediately call a health worker, who will come home to you. Depending on the symptoms, the doctor will decide whether to leave the patient for home treatment or hospitalize. Remember, self-medication can harm your health.
