On Sunday of March 1, over 70 children from Dokuchayevsk, Khartsyzsk and the village of Aleksandrovka, as well as from Petrovsky District of Donetsk, visited a zoo in the village of Pridorozhnoye, Starobeshevsky District.
As part of the Children of the Republic social program, DPR People’s Council MPs Klavdia Kulbatskaya and Maria Pirogova arranged festivities for children from frontline districts, a children’s social center, from families of soldiers and multi-child families. Along with the tour in the zoo, animateurs performed an entertainment show for the young visitors. The children took part in various action-oriented games and got pancakes, a traditional treat on Maslenitsa.
“Today’s event for children was not just entertaining, but also informative, they got acquainted with the features of animal life. The kids were very pleased with the tour and happy. I am grateful to everyone who took part in conducting this trip,” Klavdia Kulbatskaya commented.
She also emphasized that caring for children is the main task of the state, work in this direction will continue. She expressed her deep appreciation for the assistance that Gennady Kryazhev, the zoo’s director, provided.
“The Children of the Republic social program was initiated by Deputy Chair of the DPR People’s Council Olga Makeyeva. As part of this project, various events are regularly conducted for children who have found themselves in a difficult life situation, children of the military and those from the frontline regions of the Republic. Also, they get all possible assistance and support. We are grateful to everyone who supports this wonderful program.” Maria Pirogova said.
