The armed formations of Ukraine opened fire at populated localities of the Republic 26 times over the past 24 hours, official representative of the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing on March 3.
- “On the Gorlovka front, militants of the 58th and 59th brigades engaged 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns and small arms to fire at the localities of Mikhailovka, South Zaitsevo, Ozeryanovka, Shirokaya Balka and the Gagarin mine’s village.
- On the Donetsk front, forces of the 92nd, 57th and 28th brigades engaged 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms to fire at the localities of Zhabichevo, Staromikhailovka, Yasinovataya, the Kuibyshevsky district and the Trudovskaya mine’s village in Donetsk.
- On the Mariupol front, militants of the 10th brigade engaged automatic grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms to fire at the localities of Sakhanka and Oktyabr.
Information on the damage caused to civil infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population is being specified.
All the evidence of the localities’ having been shelled have been provided to representatives of international organizations based in the Republic, along with the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office for criminal proceedings to be initiated against AFU brigade commanders Kokorev, Mishanchuk, Marchenko, Zubanich, Kashchenko and Shapovalov,” Oleg Nikitin said.
