On March 3, Donetsk hosted a working meeting featuring Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka and a delegation from the Republic of South Ossetia. The RSO delegation was headed by Chairperson of the Committee for Veterans and Disabled and Chair of the RSO Public Chamber Madina Pliyeva. The meeting was also attended by People’s Council deputies Rinat Bilyalov and Vasily Pertsev, as well as representatives of the DPR Committee for Disabled, Veterans of War, Labor and Law Enforcement.

“A person has always been the focus of our attention, so support from the state, from the public, especially if the country has faced hostilities, is of special importance. Our duty is to provide assistance to veterans of service, who defended their homeland, support those who were seriously wounded and whose capabilities are limited today, and I am sincerely glad that both the Republic of South Ossetia and the Donetsk People’s Republic pay great attention to this.

Our states are like-minded. Moreover, I believe that our republics can be considered brotherly indeed. A series of agreements have been signed between the DPR and the RSO, which gives us the opportunity to develop cooperation and share experience in many spheres,” the DPR People’s Council Chairman stressed.

In their turn, members of the delegation thanked the representatives of the DPR Committee for Disabled, Veterans of War, Labor and Law Enforcement for their active cooperation and discussed some plans for future joint work.
