On March 6, Donetsk hosted a briefing where they summed up the finale of the Donbass Beauty-2020 Republic Pageant, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports.

Yana Yakovenko, the Chief of the Young Republic Public Organization’s Projects Implementation Division, spoke about the pageant.

“The Center for Slavic Culture hosted the grand finale of Donbass Beauty-2020 Pageant yesterday. It was a real holiday of beauty.

In total, 400 girls took part in the contest, who applied in absentia. Of them, we picked 150 contestants. Only the best 19 made it to the finale. The girls competed in two age categories: Young Beauty of Donbass-2020, aged 14 to 17, and Beauty of Donbass-2020, aged 18 to 25.

The girls showcased themselves in five competitions: acquaintance with the audience, demonstration of a national costume, defile in a sports style, going out evening gowned and intellectual competition in the history of Donbass for participants in the older age category,” Yana Yakovenko said.

She also announced another festival, Student Spring of Donbass-2020.

Yana Yakovenko noted that a guest from Moscow was in Donetsk as an honorary member of the jury at the finale of Donbass Beauty-2020 Pageant. It was Vadim Khusainov, the General Producer of the international company Fashion House International. The Russian Centre backed his visit.

“The beauty pageant was conducted by the Young Republic Public Organization for the first time in association with Hero of the Donetsk People’s Republic Akhra Avidzba,” Yana Yakovenko stressed.

Manager of the Donbass Beauty-2020 Republic Pageant Yulia Bayramova named the winners and spoke about the prospects that are open to them.

“The winner of Donbass Beauty-2020 in the nomination “2nd Vice-Junior Beauty of Donbass 2020” was Zlatoslava Chernetskaya, nomination “1st Vice-Junior Beauty of Donbass 2020” was awarded to Alexandra Petrenko. And the main title of the younger age category “Young Beauty of Donbass 2020” was given to Amina Sinitskaya.

Following the results of the pageant, Tatiana Bondar won the nomination “2nd Vice-Miss Beauty of Donbass-2020”, Victoria Kalitenko won the nomination “1st Vice-Miss Beauty of Donbass-2020”. The main winner of the beauty contest in the older age category was Darya Zadnepryannaya. The girl received the well-deserved crown and the title of Beauty of Donbass-2020.

Winners of Donbass Beauty-2020 Amina Sinitskaya and Darya Zadnepryannaya will participate in the Russian Beauty contest, whose finale will be held in late March in Moscow. One of the winners will also be the face of the cover of the Russian glossy magazine World Beauty.

The finalists will tap into the international arena and will be able to take part in the All-Russian contests in Moscow and Sochi throughout the year. In the future they may take part in international competitions in Macedonia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, as well as in Universe Beauty Festival in France,” Yulia Bayramova informed.
