A ceremonial assembly of the Republican Young Republic Youth Public Organization, dedicated to the fifth anniversary of its founding, took place in Donetsk today, on March 11. According to the correspondent of the Official Website, Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin addressed the congress participants with a welcoming speech.
“Dear friends! Dear young people!
I am glad to welcome the ceremonial assembly participants and congratulate the Young Republic on its fifth anniversary!
For the state the youth is like a locomotive for a railroad train. Experience, adeptness, skills – all of these can always be gained. You possess the most important thing – time. The time to dream, create and act. The time to lay the foundation for your future. For the youth of the Donetsk People’s Republic, which takes an active part in building the state, it is also the time for making responsible decisions, the time for actions. Appreciate it! Appreciate it as it will not be available again!
The effectiveness of your actions, dear friends, is always in view. Since the Young Republic’s founding, all of our citizens have been closely watching you. The fact that you are celebrating your fifth anniversary evidences the most important thing – you demonstrate the results.
I would like to thank you for your increased attention to veterans of the Great Patriotic War and combatants. In the Year of the Great Victory, our duty is to make every effort so that our history is not rewritten or forgotten. Of course, your work with schoolchildren and students is important, including the promotion of historical knowledge and patriotic education. I would also like to point out your work on the development of the volunteer movement, as well as on strengthening cooperation with youth organizations of the Russian Federation. I am sure that numerous successes and new achievements are ahead for you.

In the course of the event, its participants summed up the work of the Young Republic Public Organization for 2019, and announced plans and objectives for the current year 2020.
“A tremendous amount of work was done in five years. Its format was changed more than once, teams were reorganized. I am glad that the structure of the youth organization, local branches in cities and districts, structural and territorial divisions has been developed to date. The State supported a huge number of youth initiatives and ideas. This is perhaps the point of utmost importance. The number of projects implemented is encouraging. Five years is a significant milestone, and for this period we really became that very youth organization, which is the driving force of youth.
The slogan of our organization is “The future in the hands of young people!” We want to become stronger and enhance the existing sectors of work in the next five years. And, of course, our the main focus is integration into the youth space of the Russian Federation,” Kirill Makarov, the Head of the Young Republic Public Organization and a DPR People’s Council deputy, said.
