On Thursday of March 12, residents of the villages of Krasny Partizan, Vasilyevka and the urban-type village of Verkhnetoretskoye got help as part of the activities of the Public Staff for Frontline Districts affiliated with the Donetsk Republic Public Movement, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports.
Thus, Head of the Verkhnetoretskoye Village Administration Sergey Pavlov and Chief of the Public Staff for Frontline Districts Svetlana Chernyshenko handed over 15 sets of household chemicals. Besides, 32 residents got a medical consultation from Yasinovataya Central District Hospital’s therapist Yekaterina Tsybulya and sets of essential medications for their home medicine chest.
According to Svetlana Chernyshenko, the staff has been operating since December 2017 and regularly provides necessary assistance to residents living at the contact line.
“Unfortunately, some citizens can’t ask for help and inform of their problems due to some life circumstances. Therefore, the staff initiated a new project, Help Available to Everyone, as part of which representatives of the staff visit residents of frontline districts in-home and learn about their needs in person. After the visit, they form a list of necessary medications based on the information, then the medications are distributed among those in need,” the chief of the public staff said.
She also noted that the first visit as part of this project took place on March 4, centralized purchase of necessary medicines is almost completed, and their delivery will begin in early April.
“All citizens who ended up in a difficult life situation, pensioners, low-income people and disabled, are on the watch list of the local administration. In case of their appeal, they are provided with all possible assistance. For those who cannot get it on their own, we deliver it home. Support, attention and care are very important for people living at the contact line,” Head of the Verkhnetoretskoye Village Administration Sergey Pavlov commented.
In her turn, Ekaterina Tsybulya, a physician-therapist, said that all citizens living in the village of Krasny Partizan, Verkhnetoretskoye and Vasilyevka are regularly examined by medical personnel at the local medical center. Those who are unable to come and get a consultation due to health reasons a doctor examines at their place of residence.
