Children living in Uglegorsk, along with children from the Delfiny [The Dolphins] Public Organization of Disabled Persons, attended a performance by the Yuri Nikulin Moscow Circus within the framework of the Children of the Republic Social Programme, on the initiative of DPR People’s Council Deputy Chairperson Olga Makeyeva and MP Dmitry Ogilts, a correspondent of the Official Website of the Donetsk People’s Republic reports today, on March 14.
“Together with Olga Makeeva, we have organized a visit to the Donetsk Kosmos Circus for our young citizens to attend the program of the Yuri Nikulin Moscow Circus “Hurray! I’m going to the circus.”
Deputies of the People’s Council have been implementing the Children of the Republic Programme for several years. I would like to thank greatly the management and employees of the Donetsk Kosmos Circus and, of course, the performers of the Yuri Nikulin Moscow Circus, for the assistance and support,” Dmitry Ogilets said.
In turn, Olga Makeyeva noted that such events are very important for young residents of the Republic, because childhood should be full of vivid memories, kindness, and joy.
“I want to thank the Kosmos Circus management for another opportunity to visit this wonderful and everybody’s favorite institution. Today, more than 50 persons, namely children from the long-suffering Uglegorsk and children from the Delfiny [The Dolphins] Public Organization of Disabled Persons, watched a performance by the legendary Yuri Nikulin Moscow Circus,” she added.
As will be recalled, the Children of the Republic Social Project was organized by deputies of the DPR People’s Council and is designed to help children in difficult situations.
